Champions League - Predictions for Aug 23, 2016

Predictions on Champions League games for August 23, 2016. Check out GamesMoney soccer analysis for this week.

  • Roma vs. Porto

Definitely, Roma to win this game. In the first match in Portugal, the Italian team was playing much more impressive in the first half until 2 stupid yellow cards for new man of the club – Thomas Vermaelen.

Can’t see for what Porto can pass Roma, even without 1 player Roma was looking not so weak against the Portuguese club.

Roma’s win – 3/4

  • Monaco vs. Villareal

Although all of gossips, Monaco was able to keep Fabinho in the club for new season. Monaco looked much more qualified team than Villareal, who lost the main star of defense – Eric Bailly, who is shining in the Manchester United games. Don’t see any problems for the French team.

Monaco’s win – 11/8

  • Hapoel Be’er Sheva vs. Celtic

Finally Celtic started to play like many years ago. It was really not so interesting to see Champions League without Scottish team- Celtic or Rangers. And many of football lovers missed that amazing fans support in Scotland and the atmosphere in stadium. Celtic won in away game 5-2 and with one leg in group stage of this tournament. They just don’t need to do crazy and stupid mistakes.

Celtic’s win 9/5

  • Legia Warsaw vs. Dundalk

Legia won the first game very easily 2-0. Dundalk is not the polish team’s level at the moment. Fans can be proud of their team for being even in this stage of Champions League.

Legia’s win – 2/5

  • Viktoria Plzen vs. Ludogorets Razgrad

This is the match between 2 equal teams, where is really hard to predict anything. Pretty sure in one thing. There will be scored many goals, but we can’t forget the fact Ludogorets is ahead by 2 goals.
